I would like an answer to what is being done to stop these nuisance calls

Charity calls including RSPCA, requesting purchase of RSPCA gift lines.

I just called the number back and the person who answered the phone said they are from "Reach Net" and when I said I was returning a missed call he said I could just disregard that even thoughhe didnt know who I was?! Very strange.

Wish they'd stop ringing and hanging up. I'm too busy for this stuff

Is there something we can do about this? I originally answered the phone call and after I NICELY stated 'no thanks', I have ever since then receive calls from them atleast 4 times a WK! Whats the point of having a silent number thats supposedly blocked from telemarketing and others only to STILL be hassled by them.

Gone are the days when they use to come to your door. That Id prefer cause my baseball bat has being polished and ready for some time now.

This number has been bugging my landline for some months now. I'm keeping a call log and will be contacting Optus to have it dealt with. I'm also of the belief that it's a charity - one that hasn't made enough is tax deductable calls?

I will not give my mobile number to anyone outside my immediate circle, not even the vet or my doctor. Absolutely fed up with being 'sold on' to ... who knows.

I've heard iphone have an app called 'black book' which is a useful blocking system.

Yep, got a few calls from this number is the last week. I didn't answer it and I wont.

I have now added this phone number to my mobile and called it SPAMMER as I cannot block it. Now I will know who is calling...oh and they use another phone number of (03) 8678 2600 presume its the same people...so have added that number too. and called it spammer one...

Same here, a pain! Two or three times a day on weekdays. Engaged tone if you call back.

I think this number is a charity. They call me between 1-3 times a day and have been for a really long time. As early as 9am and as late as 8pm!! I'm sick of being chugged!! (Charity Mugged)

effing sick of this number and the other one i just complained about something needs to be done i never hear anyone but it drives me crazy and its so bloody rude need to be able to block them or find out who they are and press harrassment charges cos its a pain in the freaking arse

This number has been trying to call me nearly everyday for the past 6 months.. so annoying!

They call at least once a day and hang up. Very annoying as you hang u from a legitimate client to have them hang up on you. Same engaged when try to call back. Need to be able to block them.

This number calls my mobile every day, sometimes more than once a day, when try to ring back the phone is always busy....getting very annoyed.....

This is a standard number for donations.  Many companies use this call centre, so it could be one of many companies.  By standard practice, they do not leave messages as they do not have a return number as it is an outbound centre only.

i keep getting calls from this num to, and its f***ing pissing me off, i answer they hang up, i call back and they hang up, stop it u freaking morons.
