Tried to call back as missed this call a few times, so thought would be polite! Rang a few times and then just cuts off. So they can call me and I cannot call them - hmmm, dodgy sellers I guess.

This number has rang me 10 times in the last 6 days. Pests!

Rang me at 4:30pm - after I picked up they were silent for a few seconds and then hung up. Always nice to interrupt working with a nuisance call.

Called about 3 times in the space of a few weeks, when I call back it rings for maybe 5 seconds then cuts out.B'tards

I have had 20 calls this week from this number with the frequency
increasing and as others have commented they call my home phone first then my mobile. i have not answered the calls as i believe it to be a call centre on behalf of charities. I don't mind donating when i can but i am not the central bank either. I have only handed over my mobile number to one charity caller without realising it was a call centre for many.

This number has called me many times on both mobile & landline over the last 2 weeks. I hate being bombarded by these calls. Apparently it's from a company called reachnet who are looking to sign people up to the NBN. Not interested as I get a better & very much cheaper deal with my current provider.

I just had a call from this number on both my landline and mobile numbers, and was immediately disconnected when I answered. When I called the number back, was once again disconnected. Not sure what this is all about, but it certainly seems suspicious. I'm a bit over the telemarketing for charities now ... I've given quite a lot over the years, it just seems they always want more. Just giving to my own family now, and maybe once or twice a year to selected legitimate charities.

This number has been calling me several times a day for the last month, and other calls as far back as August. First my landline rings (i don't answer because I've got caller id) then immediately my mobile rings. Both my landline and mobile are with Optus.

Same thing is also happening with a number that just shows up as 'private'. Landline, then mobile. I answered once and no-one spoke, but I could hear phone centre noises in the background. Then the line went dead. I'm on the DNC register too. Seems to make little difference.

I am from Dee Why NSW and have started recieving calls from this (03) 8678 2603 number. I have a relatively new number and because of many other charity calls that I have been recieving (that know my name) leads me to think that my number may have been provided to these people by my phone co. If this is the case then Telstra, Optus and the othe phone companies may provide caller lists to these businesses for a price. Very annoying.

(03) 8678 2603 is a telemarketer that doesn't respect the DNC register. They called me today to represent Mummy’s Wish, a legitimate charity providing practical support and information to mothers diagnosed with cancer when they have young children to care for.

The caller did not identify the call-centre operator, and wanted to argue with me about why I should donate to them. (I choose to donate to organisations that research cancer cures and improved diagnoses)

Sick to death of these nuisance callers. Why don't they get a proper job. Fortunately I have a number read out on my phone so do not answer. I believe the numbers are put into a computer and it just keeps calling. If you answer, the computer keeps a record of when you are in. I hope these people get massive phone bills. Don't call register is useless and so are Telstra.

Yah I am fed up with this number too, it calls any time and they dont answer!!!does anyone knows how to get reed of it?

This number has been calling my landline and mobile several times a day for t he last week. I'm also on the 'do not call' register. A couple of the calls around 8 am, and some quite late in the evening. A real pest.

Also being pestered by (03) 8678 2603, they ring and never say anything just hang up. So with caller ID I just dont answer. If anyone knows how to get rid of them then please let us all know?

I know this because this morning I had a call from this very pesky (03) 8678 2603 (thank you to Call Line Identification for helping me identify the calling number) – I listened to the guy’s spiel “calling on behalf of The Alannah and Madeline Foundation” and immediately rang the Foundation to tell them how annoying these people are.

They told me the telemarketing company was DCS Telemarketing – which I can’t locate anywhere in Australia… aaaaagh!

I’m told the person in charge of the relationship with DCS at Alannah and Madeline is Clare.

If DCS keep annoying me, I’m going to be Clare’s most persistent caller to let her know what I think of their telemarketing company!!

I have recently contacted and set up the Do Not Call Register, but this number keeps on calling. As I have a phone which shows the number calling I do not answer. Even if you contact Telstra they do very little and the number starts calling again.
