Very annoying and I want them to stop calling me. I had calls from Melbourne (03) including this 8676 7578 and other various numbers repeatedly. Do you get these numbers calling you as well?

This mob called my mobile number FIVE times on 21 June 2018. I generally don't pick up 03 numbers so didn't speak to anyone. I'd like to know who gave these scammers my number. A couple of days earlier I inadvertently picked up one from (03) 9923 2801 & the scammer had my full name & mobile number.
Since I rarely give my mobile number to anyone, it must have been one of 2 Banks as I had to give them my number the week before.
Really scumbag behaviour of these companies to give out my personal details to anyone. I don't give a sh*t what they say I 'agreed' to. I friggin' never agreed to be harassed by what feels like the entire population of the sub-continent

Relentless and won't take no for an answer. I asked 5 times to take my details off their database and each time, she went into her sales spiel, until I said "If you don't listen to me and take my details off your database, I will make a complaint. As you have told me this call is being recorded, I can refer back to this recording to show that I have persistently requested to be removed from your database." She complied and hung up.

A blatant cold calling scammer that has spoofed a maybe legitimate bussiness number..!

Repeatedly called me even though I asked to be taken off the list. They had the wrong name listed and said they were calling about my electricity and gas. When I told them I don't have any electricity and gas in my name they asked who's name was it in. Obviously I refused to give this information. Bloody scammers!!! Don't give out your details!!!

I'm having the same issue. I have a hunch is might be to do with organisations like Dominoe's pizza. Sometimes when you agree to enter a competition upon purchase, you're consenting for your contact info. to be sold to third parties. This could be the price that we're paying to enter competitions to win a holiday. Just a thought.

Rang me out of the blue STATING that was going to provide me with a new cell phone ,that I could keep my current number and furthermore that it was a New Samsung Cell Phone that has not as yet been released to general market.
Without taking a breath then informed me that would be doing so for ‘’ONLY $399 AUD.
I replied hmm ok so if I hang up now and call you back on the number you have called me from you will answer..?
Replied of course certainly …BUT at same time begged me not to hang up to call back..
I immediately replied ‘’I am hanging up NOW and will call you straight back..
I did exactly that however was no call tone and said call failed ..So I hung up and rung back again it did ring 5 times but then call was hung up and said ‘’Call failed’’
An obvious unsolicited call with attempt at hard sell to gain my credit card details and other information..
Upon hanging up and attempting to call the number It became blatantly obvious that it was a spoofed number by a wannabetry hard scammer
Don’t bother answering this number or IF they call you tell them that you are going to hang up the call and will call the caller back immediately…
The scammer hates this reply..and you avoid being scammed and supplying the scammer with private individual information!!

calls and hangs up when I call back its always engaged.
keeps call over and over when I block it they change numbers I have blocked many numbers lost count. they call every day 2 to 3 times a day.
I did some online survey for a prize never again.

I'm having the same problem so I've taken to not answering numbers that I don't know or any number that doesn't leave a message and I've told everyone that has my number and tries to ring me just leave a message I've worked out telemarketers wont leave a message as they know people wont ring them back as were not inserted in whatever they are selling
