I called back number (03) 8658 9056 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Caller: I didn’t answer

Why answer? I know the flooding of unsolicited calls texts, mostly scams is destroying the idea of open communication, but it is not worth the risk … I suppose if you run a business you can’t afford to miss leads, but really we need a new global network that uses authenticated calling - Telstra, Optus, Vodafone don’t seem to want to address it much

Came up as 'suspected spam' and rang out.

Never gave him a chance to elaborate, so he hung up.

They knew my first name and my current job role. And when I called back the number would disconnect

Caller rang many times in a row until I answered. He claimed to be from Hitachi and wanted to discuss a security product offering and requested my email address.

Caller: Claiming to be from Amazon Web Services

Claiming to be from AWS and demanded to be transferred to a high level executive in our business. Refused to leave a message.
