More cold calls from this number today. First one from "Jared" hung up after 15 seconds, second call 5 mins later immediate hang up when I answered. Sick of these calls - and they don't remove you from their register despite asking repeatedly.

Does anyone know how to make a formal complaint?

This company is a joke, do not answer. We have told them on several occasions to remove our number from their list, but they keep calling. We will be making a formal complaint.

These pests called every 30 mins - 6 times saying they are from Telstra - why are they allowed to get away with this? It's a disgrace!

These people have called me 29 times today. Yesterday they got through (& left messages) to my message bank. They have been calling us for a week now!!! I will be calling the 1800 number,the 1300 number and the terrorism hotline

I have to say new thing to these after receiving call from this no I had to dial some where else and while I was talking I received the call from them & another height I was just checking the missed call on my land line instrument they called at that time. I think they can track our phone lines

This number (obviously computer generated & faulty) rang my me constantly one day last week. I have call display, so do not usually answer any number I do not recognize. They rang all afternoon, probably 40 - 50 times. Still ringing after 8pm, (no answer if I picked up). In desperation found a Telstra number, who put me on to one of their departments who blocked them from ringing my number. Obviously they could not care less about anyone's well being or convenience, telemarketers are the curse of the modern world!

these person(s)are harassing us several times a day - i have put us on do-not-call register today. who do you go to, to have this stopped??

3 calls from this number in 15 minutes. Appreciate this site here as we already knew it was from arseholes so didn't answer first two calls Then third call I answered and immediately hung up in his ear while he was still saying `hello'.

I have also complained to Optus at https://optus.intelliresponse.com/ since the ACMA search clearly identified it as an Optus number.
They summarily dismissed my complaint, and said I had to complain to my own provider, Telstra. All Telstra can do is block my number from them, only Optus can fix this, and they are refusing to even investigate.

I called 1800 805 996 about this and they said they would block it, supposedly they can block up to 15 numbers. I also added myself to the do not call register.
It was a bit odd the Telstra guy had no clue where this number was from, even though he acknowledged 10's of thousands of complaints, had no idea who owned the number. He should call Optus, since they own that 10,000 block of numbers. Its searchable on the ACMA website.http://web.acma.gov.au/numb/openAccess/inquiry/viewAllocationSearch.do

we all must report this to our local member and have these people tracked down. It's obvious they are no good and why do they call. They need to be prosecuted.

these scum have called 5 times today claiming lower bills for Telstra bills I am not with Telstra I have called the authorities on these morons hope they rot in hell they have been calling for months had enough of their bullsh*t

I would like to know why Australian law prevents us from learning the identity of these people. With the 1000s of complaints on various forums across the web, one would think that a half-sensible governing body would either "SHUT THEM DOWN" or at least allow the people whom they continue to harass (from behind their government created curtain of secrecy)the right to know "WHO THEY ARE" (Unless of coarse, maybe...... they are an integral part of the telecommunications monopolies in this country and are therefore PROTECTED!)

Saturday morning and this number has started calling from about 9.30am. They call constantly every day, sometimes within 30mins of each call and most times are just hangup.

9 calls from this number between 11.00am and 7.45pm. The number was blocked from being called back. On the 5th call I answered and told the male person who appeared to be Indian to stop calling. 4 calls after that. The following day at 10.30am he rang again. I answered and did not let him speak. It was more than obvious he was at a call centre due to the background voices that could be heard. I told him to cease calling the number or I would report him to Fair Trading and not to call back.

this number is absolutely driving me up the wall, they are the rudest people I have ever spoken to-constant harrassment from them

These people call for a reason; to check your at home time; to pay you out; to check your mental stamina from your response. Their phone bill is minimal. I get these calls at times that coincide with other "happenings" in the close neighbourhood.

They keep calling my number and Messagebank answers them. Just their number is recorded, no voice messages. They'll get bored after awhile I hope and give up.
