Several calls on landline and mobile a day - even though I have asked (nicely): please do not phone me again. So sick of these individuals!

Had blocked a similar number, also from Telco Talk. This time they were calling about a problem with my ADSL broadband internet. I commented that we dont have a problem with our ADSL and she replied 'ah but it is'. No, we live in the bush, we have NBN wireless. Oh my mistake she says, the problem is with your home telephone line. I said no it's not. 'Ah but it is' Again I explained that we don't have a home phone line. She then said quite rudely 'that's not the truth' and hung up hahahaha. So annoying, will be blocking!

They have been hassling me and definitely got my name from the recent '50 dollar safeway voucher' email scam. I slightly change my info so I know who got what from where when idiots call. They operate a number of business names for this one, one dial, telko talk etc but they are registered enough to try and make legal claim on you and tricking you into verbal contracts etc. They also edit what you say if they get enough - sinister. I spoke to 'John lol' again just now and he hung up because I got excited and said 'wow man you guys are famous, look your number up lol... go on tell me you're from telstra... this is great... but don't you feel horrible stealing from old people... I mean I know your country sucks but REALLY? the old and vulnerable? no c'mon tell me please how can you sleep? etc etc etc lol Stay safe everyone :)

I was called on my mobile by "Telco/NBN" saying she would send me a free modem ready for when NBN come to my area. I said I didn't want it, but she was insistent and asked how much we spend on landline and Internet costs. When she asked for my landline number I was suspicious as Telstra would know that. So I hung up. Have blocked the number. The Indian accent and noisy background of people making similar calls got my hackles up too.

Constantly calls and hungs up on answer. Sick of it so i rung them back for several reasons 1. I do not have a landline and internet bundle 2. I do not appreciate phone calls at all hours of the day and 3. Dont call me and hung up. First women i got i said to stop calling me was rude and slammed the phone down so i called back got a different person who gave me the same sales pitch followed by a pause of silence then laughter. Told him again to stop calling me and go find a real job! Hope they get the idea! Save yourself the trouble and block the number

they tell you they are not there to sell anything only to give you information, then they try to upgrade you.. so yes, they are selling something.. I simply reply with everything they say with "thank you for that information","thank you for that information" , "thank you for that information" over and over and over.. No matter what they say to me.. I just repeat that statement. they get the hint and leave soon enough

Yes same problem , confused me so much as they were indicating they were Telstra and wanted to give me a better deal as they could see that I didn't use my landline. At the beginning of the call I asked if they were selling something. Anyway rang this morning and said I didn't wish to proceed. And NOT to contact me again. Anyway 3 more calls today . Have blocked their number. Beware !!!!!
