They phoned me three times in one day. I rang the number back and the guy was from Telco wanting to save me money on my landline. Funny I don't even have a landline and when I told him this he hung up on me. My number is on the do not call register and has been for 2 years.

so rude. every time I call back to speak to someone to be taken off their call list, they hang up. the people that work for these companies clearly have no morals! they should be shut down

Yet another call centre operator using purchased telephone numbers (probably from the ABS) to call and try to suck people in to transferring to their service.
Can someone please advise the call centre training staff in India that Australians don't like being argued with when we say we're not interested in something? And if I call you out on being a liar, just admit it rather than being all aggressive with me on the phone. Seriously - you can't save me money on home phone line rental when I don't have a home phone, unless you're prepared to give me money. Don't call me a liar and tell me that I have to have a home phone - it's the easiest way to tick me off. I understand that it might be the norm where you are, but here a lot of homes no longer have a home phone. Research on the country and demographic you're calling might help. Morons.

Why can't our government or Telecommunication Authority do something about these morons that harass and irritate us everyday? Cancel and fine any phone number that has complaints against it.

(03) 8644 8256 called me three times in one day. I recently filled in a sham survey online which put my mobile number on a list that is getting sold to many dodgy companies and this is just one of SOOOOOOOOOOO many calls I am getting.

Called me twice today. I've asked to be taken off the call list multiple times. Obviously some overseas call centre with no regard for other cultures by their constant harassing

use your mobile to block contact - pffft gone in an instant :-) may have to keep this up as they change numbers...easy to eliminate them though...

What is the "do not call register" for if we can't stop these morons? I have registered for years and still receive these idiotic calls frequently.

This number called me five times yesterday. Each time I answer the call drops out and when I call back I get an automated message saying the call cannot be connected at this time. Very frustrating. I have blocked them
