Received multiple messages today (14-10-2014) at 2:19pm, 4:29pm, 4:51pm. Finally got the caller to tell me his name - Frank - but refused to give me his company name. Inferred he was calling from Telstra, and that my service was a Telstra service that he could offer a better contract on.
FIRST WRONG MOVE:- my service is a VOIP service on NBN - I do not have a copper landline phone number. BAD GUESS FRANK!!! (Frank should probably take an educated guess that the customer would most likely know how they set up their home phone service!!)
SECOND WRONE MOVE:- the telephone equipment at my premises has the facility to provide the number of the caller - in this case it is [03] 8864 2948 - but Frank told me he was not required to give me his phone number - POOR MOVE, FRANK!!!! Gotcha there, Buddy!!!
THIRD WRONG MOVE:- he chose to ring a telecommunications officer who has had 30 years of experience in Telstra customer service - EVEN WORSE MOVE FRANK!!!!!! Real bad move!!!

We have been receiving calls from this number constantly requesting personal information such as social security/driving license numbers etc. When challenged they get very aggressive and pushy and persist in calling even though they are aware that we know that they are a spam operation and that they are are wasting both their and our time.

I have fun with them, tell them I think they are a scam and need to check the internet and keep them on the phone for as long as i can ie tell them there is someone at the door and put them on hold for a few minutes or tell them i have another call
JUST WASTE THEIR TIME AND LET THEM HANG UP ON YOU
IT MADE ME FEEL BETTER

Sick and tired of receiving these phone calls. Finally answered one today and made it crystal clear that I never want to hear from them again. Hope it works. Surely it's not legal to tell me that you are 'associated with Telstra'. Beyond frustrating.

I have had these guys ring up to 5 times a day then they leave me alone for a week, then it starts again. I asked for the company name and it was give then name Telco Choice Australia - 100 Albert St South Melbourne. I have given them multiple warnings and asked the to cease. I will be writing to the telecommunications authority if there is such a body

I just rang the number 1300 307 024 for Tele Byte & requested they put me on the internal 'Do Not Call' register, they agreed but refused to acknowledge they were also 'Prism Telecom'. I will see how this progresses. I am soo sick of these calls, I asked the last caller for a phone number & he refused, after saying I had to register first, before he would supply me with the number for administration center..... Do not register with them.
