Have had them on a few times saying they are from (Telstra) as them your name and customer number. Don't tell them. Phone goes dead.

Hehe. Got that feeling straight away. Asked for ABN number and provided not one detail. Got another number here so will post under that. Pretty much the same deal. Aggressive said call was recorded, told them nope don't want it recorded. Rather fun actually

I received 3 calls in one day they told me they were from Telstra an wanted to help me save money on my internet bill.i told them I don't have Internet an she hung up.

5 times today even while i was at a Telstra store. The geek there answered my phone and told them off lol they now on my reject list

This number just rang my Telstra Mobile, I ignored it because I don't answer my phone at work, unless i know the number. The caller left a 6 second 'voicemail' that was just music. Obviously thought better than to leave a message. Would have been handy though. It's annoying because my mobile is on the Do Not Call Register. How many times a year do I need to register my number. CRANKY

Trying to gain personal information!!!!!!!!
Just had this call at work on my Optus mobile claiming to be an affiliate of Telstra. Offering $40 off my monthly landline/internet service.
He had my address, number and plan details. He wanted my DOB so I made one up.
Then he wanted my licence, medicare or passport number so that I could receive my FREE modem. Delivery driver needs my ID number for confirmation. When I said I don't know my numbers he got angry, raised his voice and said that everyone knows their drivers licence number. I don't. He hung up on me.

They rang me twice but I always let any calls go to answering machine. They didn't leave a message. All calls to my house ALWAYS go to my answering machine UNLESS I know the number.

Just had thrm try my no this afternoon. I have had this experience before and will not answer - I verify their ID through this website first, then block them. Pests. Usually v aggressive too.

Called on my telstra mobile to say I have opted in to upgrade my ADSL service, when I pushed back & asked how did I opt in they said with my email address. I kept pushing & said your telling the story here tell me about my services they couldn't tell me anything except I have opted in they hung up when I wasn't going to give them anything

Added to my reject list. Another scam artist.

I have also been receiving calls on my mobile. I called back from my work landline the call was answered it is a telco of some description. Hard to understand as his accent was very strong.

this number rang me saying my phone and internet plans were to heavy, and needed to be changed from Residential to business plan. When i demanded to know who they were and what company they calling from they hang up in my ear...(03) 8644 2681 comes up on your phone dont answer it...

Call from Telstra advising upgrades happening to my land line and Internet. Very heavy accent. I didn't provide details but they had them. I'm not through Telstra only their second company TPG 😐

Don't bother answering, just block the caller.
