Telemarketing scammers- reported to Telstra. Tried to get personal details to give reduced rates for services.

Had several missed calls from this number on the 5/01/2016. Finally answered, there was a long pause. An Indian woman then rattled off an offer that they could offer better rates than my current Telstra service (I do not have any home or internet). I told her I didn't have any and couldn't afford any either. She gave up quickly and ended the call. Telling them you can't afford any home internet seems to get rid of them asap! I went and added my phone number to the 'Do Not Call' register after that. Annoying!

I called back number (03) 8644 2537 spoke to a guy who is doing telemarketing for a telecom company called Prism Telecom.

This mob called me said I was having trouble with my net provider, when I asked who my provider was he replied Telstra. I told him he was wrong as I have a different provider he then hung up on me when I said to him that this sounds like a scam

I had an indian call centre answer when I rang the number back. Said something about telstra land line and internet, I just hung up!

Receive calls on my mobile from this number regularly, sometimes several a day. I do not answer as it is not a number I recognise. They never leave a message.

I called back number (03) 8644 2537 was put on hold music but no one answered the call it just kept on saying please stay on the line.
