Caller: 'Australian Government agency'

I got this message today - similar to some of the other comments about this number: "This is Big Village (ABN 39 126 100 276). In the coming days we will call to see if you can take part in an important survey on behalf of a government agency."

Calls from this number is definitely a phishing scam. Stay clear of it!

This ABN number is correct for Big Village but the phone number questionable look up the website and ASIC

Caller: Big Village?

Called my mobile after 5PM, saying she's from 'big village?' doing a tourism survey for Australia Government. I demanded how she's got my number, she said that they got it by randomly generating. How freaking illegal is that? Working for the govt? calling after 5pm? A complete scam!!!

Caller: claimed to be an Australian Government organisation or acting for one.

Claimed to be conducting an Australian Government employee and organisation. Word salad about survey methodology. Became annoyed and rude when I asked for a proper description of his organisation so that I might look up the number myself. Refused to say how this number was sourced or selected.
Individual on the phone sounded poorly educated. This is a scam for personal details.

I just got a call from this phone saying it's from the Australian Government.

I recd txt msg with same info, company make, abn... very suspicious. Not sure how they got my number. They have hacked into someone's database to get my info. I won't be answering their calls.

Called out on their scam and proceeded to call me the n word, wtf

Indian man started said no, call ceased with lightening speed. Don't trust a soul anymore.

I received a text from this number a few weeks ago saying it was Big Village for a govt agency survey. I checked out and found replies. I will answer next time and keep them talking for as long as possible just for the fun of it.

Whether it's a scam or not, I don't know, but they rang my work phone on a weekend, so it's either cold call or a scam. I'm blocking the number regardless.

I had exactly the same text and follow up call from this number which I didn’t answer.

When I get sketchy numbers I call them from a payphone. Usually a scam call. Sometimes ligit

The number is now blocked!! Interestingly, we have received calls with digits either side of the final number. All have been scams.
