I have been trying to get my mobile number removed from their system for the last 11 months but they will not remove it. My number was a contact number for a previous company that I worked for and they refuse to remove it even though I have explained on numerous occasions I no longer work for that company. I have now blocked their number on my phone and hopefully that will be the end of it.

Momentum - as one of your customers I can cope with an outbound call, what I don't deal so well with is you not leaving a message. Repeated calls with no messages is stalking. It's creepy. It leads to blocking and me looking for another provider.

This number is used by Momentum Energy for outbound marketing campaigns.
We apologise for any inconvenience or distress caused if you receive an automated marketing call from Momentum Energy on this number.
Momentum completes a cross reference against the do not call register prior to initiating a telemarketing campaign. If you received a call, the response from the do not call register did not flag your number as being on their register. We believe this means that the register has deemed your number as ineligible. This could be because it is used for business purposes.
The government website www.donotcall.gov.au/consumers/faqs-for-consumers explains how to register your number for the Do Not Call list and may help with explaining why your number did not flag when we ran our check.
Should you have any questions regarding your telephone number eligibility, feel free to contact the ‘Do not Call Register’ contact centre on 1300 792 958 from Monday to Friday, between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm.
