Hate the way they operate. Give people some time to think and digest information before calling. I am looking at buying an education, not a pizza. Looks very unprofessional.

I am enrolled at Griffith, studying online through OUA. They called me to say that I can be admitted to the degree that I’ve now completed a few subjects toward. They’re very helpful, make sure it all happens the way you’re expecting it to. All legit!

Open Uni. They get your number when you download a course guide, then make unsolicited calls. Not a good look.

Looks like you could use some extra education in the correct use and spelling of the English language...

Caller: Open Uni I really should've done my research before handing over my phone number. I ended up just blocking it. I just wanted to know what could do with courses. I didn't need to be spammed.

Caller: Open Uni Aus Rang to tell me that enrollments are closing soon (5 weeks from now???). I was like, ok cool. Then he asked for my full name and DOB so he could bring up my account. I just told him 'nah' cos I will apply online for the next term like I did for the first two. Thanked him for his call, even though it was pointless, I guess they still have me in their database as a cold-call client.
Guy was nice enough, I have contacted OUA on the phone before and they have excellent customer service. It sucks they have to cold-call
They're pushy sales tactics really make it feel like we're being 'sold' a uni degree, instead of carefully considering a major lifestyle change. It is a wonder that most people fail or drop out when studying online - they were pushed into something they weren't mentally ready for!!

Open Uni cold calling after I looked at info on the website and entered my number. Didn't ask to be called. If I need further info will call them directly.
