Caller: (03) 8613 3443 He stated my name and wanted confirmation of my address. I replied truthfully that it wasn’t my address. He asked what my address is now then, and I replied “do you honestly think I would give a stranger my address?” He pushed again for confirmation of my name and address. I said that yes it’s me, but I no longer live at that address. He said ok, and hung up. Definitely call centre noise in background, and the heavily-accented male voice was almost impossible to understand. When I threatened to hang up he suddenly turned me off speakerphone and it was moderately better. I’ve now blocked the number. Thanks all who have posted under this number.

Caller: SCAM - trying to get information Caller did not introduce himself and was extremely hard to understand. Asked for my business name and then asked if I'm still at a very old address.
When I said no, he asked where I was now, so I had to ask who was calling. "Apple Maps, what is your location now?"
This is NOT how Apple would present themselves - they would be professional and also be required to state the privacy clause.
There is NO business for Apple Maps, instead you have to register the details similarly for Google Maps
My business is online - I do NOT want to be on any maps for an online business

Actually I thought it was a scammer, but maybe it actually was Apple Maps confirming my opening hours, I did just update my hours. I feel bad for giving him a hard time thinking he was a scammer, but it could be part of the scam calling businesses who just updated their hours.

Caller: Some woman If a company wants to have a serious conversation, use employees with an accent that isn't automatically associated with scammers. Perhaps one that your customer can understand. Or perhaps advertise better so you don't have to annoy people into being your customer. Who ever you are, bugga off

Apple maps asking buisness details I couldn’t understand a word of what she was saying. I don’t think it’s legit.
