Been receiving multiple calls with no messages left. Good to see this site advising where this is coming from

Got 4 calls yesterday and 1 today at 10am. Left no messages. So i checked up online and this is what I found. Is there a call-block registry in Australia to report unwarranted/unsolicited calls?

Got a call today from this number as well. Saying from Amex, a courtesy call. Asking me for DOB & things like that before they can tell me what's the call about?
I just refused to answer the security qs. Anyway, he said I can call back to Amex to check.
I wouldn't bother. Mainly these types of call is about insurance with the cards & things like that.

Friday 18th November 2011 - 2.35pm phone rang, I answered, phone hangs up. I don't really appreciate being prank called by corporations. It's effectively a nuisance call. Not sure if it's a coincidence by my AMEX card arrived today...

A real pain in the neck this lot. Call back and you get the answering machine. No way to get you off their list

Similar to previous comments - call claiming to be from American Express offering a card upgrade and asking me for identity information. I'm also perplexed at why credit card companies would be encouraging you to give out personal information to an unidentified person from a call centre.

What UA said....it's Aegis and they call on behalf of the telemarketers. Can be anything, finance/insurance sellers, AMEX. I just add the number to my SPAM contact and set it to vibrate, so no annoying ringing or whatever. Used to have a program that would make it go straight to voicemail without ringing...

Yea I kept getting missed call from this number but they never left a message, and never even bother ringing long enough for me to pick up the calls. V irritating! I'd like to know what company is behind this..!
