I can verify that This caller is completely legititmaite and they will only contact you if you have unpaid debt with a person or organisation. I can say this with confidence as they act on behalf of me all the time

got a 2 text messages from the (03) 8611 2600 saying please contact Dale on dale @ ecollect.com.au and quote ref: no. So glad I checked here because I'm waiting for a package and I thought it was a delivery company! I won't be contacting anyone now.

SMS asking to contact Adam on email @ collect.com.au Quote ref: QFILM3043

So yesterday I got the following text message:

"Dear Sean, pls contact Adam on email @ ecollect.com.au and quote Ref: QFLIM1670."

I replied simply saying "Oh no! I'm sorry you have the wrong number. I don't know a Sean, I hope you find him!"

I haven't heard any more. Hope it's not related to the nuisance calls I'm now receiving today -_- #yawn

Just got the same message from Dimi. Defs a scam everyone has said the same thing they got a message tried to call went straight to voicemail. I searched 038611 and every comment says the same as this.

I got the same text message "Outstanding amount with eCollect which may appear on a national default registry" and searched the number on google as it didn't sound right and found it has happened to a lot of people. Mine also was from Dimi so I will ignore.

I didn't get any calls or text messages on my phone but my sister actually got a text message which included my middle names but not my last name and said that I have an Outstanding Debt with National Default Registry and to call Demi on (03) 8611 2609. I know for a fact that I don't have any outstanding debts. It's strange that they rang my sister's phone but not my phone, sounds like a scam to me and I'm not going to even bother returning the call

No call only a text to contact Jamie. My middle name was used instead of my correct surname. I have no debts so i do not trust to reply with any personal information, especially my email address as Jamie has asked me to only email him.. Dodgy number. Ignore

I just got the same msg today - but from T-J and to call on (03) 8611 2639 with a reference number V....... also. Live locally, so might drop by their office at 260 King St Melb one day - just to see what it is all about.

Dodgy operation if you ask me.....

I got a message as well but I have read it may be a scam. I'm not doing anything further because I don't understand why I'm getting a text when they haven't attempted to call or post information to me.
