Here is a copy o copy of my email to them, I suggest you only contact them through email so you have written references.
Dear Daniel,
I believe your position requires you to verify the claims for legitimacy. If you have done the job you are aware that this is a fraud and you are willing participating in it and that can carry a jail penalty.
Your display of arrogance will not help you or scare me and your statement that I have hired movies from blockbuster is idiotic and meaningless. I do not claim not to have been a customer, I claim to have returned all the movies and that is what you should have looked into in the first place.
There are a number of reasons proving you are talking rubbish, e.g. a dissolved company cannot sue ex-customers for one. I also made it plain that the blockbuster never contacted me in regards to overdue movies and you do not even mention it as you are well aware your claims are absurd.
Ok I make it simple so even the feeble-minded can understand it.
Wake up, you are participating in a scam.

Got a message from ola saying I owe them money for a fare I couldn't pay. This isn't the case as you can't book a ride without paying upfront on your nominated card
I typed the number on Google and a whole lot of others have received - scam

You have an outstanding amount at yum property group. You name may appear in national Default registry. Call (03) 9999 7901.yumpg0001. This was our broker or mediator who we build the house. We have setteled all 2 and half years ago and now I got a this. No one is picking up the call when I have them a call. Not sure why the hell they did to us. I am so worried as why they did to us when we don’t vow them anything.

They are trying to say I had overdue videos from a local video store back in 2015. The video store has now closed down long ago and the address they have supposedly been sending the notices to, I have not lived at for over 5 years. I have NEVER had outstanding overdue video fines, in fact I was always known to pay any late fees (the few times it did happen) on the day I returned the videos. The titles this crowd are trying to say I had overdue, I have NEVER seen. They wanted me to give them my current address so they could pursue the debt - yeah right buddy, I ain't giving you any personal details over the phone for overdue fees that I cannot even defend.

I got one of these today. Only used my first name, email Peter and quote a reference. Does not identify the company, does not know my full name, seems dodgy.
I looked up the website ownership and ABN records, there have been multiple business names registered with websites that are all gone. That seems dodgy.
They seem to target your local video store, which probably closed years ago. Clever, because you cannot call the store and check if you owe money.
I'm ignoring them.

I've had constant calls from this business, .If you have had Recent calls from this organisation it means one thing, you've got an outstanding debt with a business or person for goods or services that you have benefited from.
If you've ever owned a service based business you will understand what it's like not to be paid by people who have a different excuse for non payment For each day of the week.
This business doesn't pester or nuisance call innocent individuals, they Persue debts for businesses that have had no success in Receiving payment. Stop making out to be the victim when this number contacts you.
Ignorance will see the matter go to VCAT.

They got the initial for my surname wrong as well, which adds to the obvious lack of credibility. Like other people here, I called through and it went to Voice Mail. Thanks for the heads up. Safe to ignore I think.
