This has to breach harrassment and privacy laws. Just made a petition - it's time these businesses got their karma returned.
Let's shut these a**holes down - force change and fight for our rights to privacy - for our choice not to be contacted by telemarketers, charities or other entity trying to get details or money - and for protection from scam calls. These businesses should not be operating.

I didn't do any online competition so how could I possibly have won a prize? Scam ~personal info gathering, and believe it or not this shonky operation was a finalist in the recent Telstra Micro Business Awards QLD. Brands of Choice, part of the Embr Group in Varsity Lakes Gold Coast, (MD James L' Almont -feel free to look for him on linkedIn) don't stop ringing me I'd like to organise a few random prizes of my own-a bulk order of free mulch seems appropriate.

Generally don't know how's they got my number - I've been thinking about it and I really haven't put this mobile number on anything other than some Resumés I sent out 8 months ago, not even to recruiters but to the companies.
I'm starting to wonder if it's just a number generator? Even my bank doesn't have my mobile number.

Actually 02 is the area code for Sydney (NSW). 03 is the area code for Melbourne (VIC), 07 is Brisbane (Qld), etc.
I have received 8 calls since last Friday. My ringtone for unknown number is "Who Can It Be Now", so I know not to answer. I always check the number before making the decision whether or not to call back.
I don't know where they got my number, because I don't enter my number on websites unless I am ordering something, and HAVE to enter it.

Calling me three time per day!!! They are calling from the company Brands of Choice on behalf of embr group. They do have alot of different numbers calling from Sydney or Melbourne. You can try to block/blacklist their numbers or call 1300 257 528 to remove your number from the list.

The never ending story of spam calls wasting peoples time and focus on the job. Australia's productivity is at an all time low with cost of living going through the roof. Please lets all do an honest day's work and make life cheaper for everyone. Thank you

Had a call from a most aggressive female who insisted that she had a right to call me because I entered a competition. when I demanded more details she informed me that she wanted all sorts of personal ID before proceeding with the great news that she had for me. Clearly major BS!
