I called back number (03) 8609 0642 reached IVR for a company called Simply Energy.

As soon as I said Hello they hung up. I checked the number here and brought me to this page. I called Simply Energy on their Officila website and spoke to a asales person,.I asked him to ensure the conversation was being recorded and to play it back to his supervisor. I informed him that it was a spam call, that Simply Energy are NOT a charity or a business that was devoid of the legal coverage from the Do Not Call register from the Australian Marketing org. I then asked him to please remove my mobile number that was called by the above telephone number from their marketing database and that they were Breaking the Law by calling me. I am Registered with the Do Not Call Register. I then requested that he text my mobile number to confirm that this had been done. I informed him that IF I had not been contacted by text with a confirmation that my number and details were REMOVED from any and all databases, I would report the company to the ACCC and Australian Marketing org, as the company is BREAKING THE LAW by cold calling me.
I Strongly ADVISE everyone get their phone numbers registered on the Do Not Call register to reduce these pests. IF they do contact you you are in your rights to advise them they are breaking the law.

This is the 3rd Simply Energy no. I've had to block after incessant missed calls, hang ups & empty msgs with background noise

I politely asked them not to call me. Guess what they called again.
This time I angrily told them to take me off their call system.
Simply Energy has no credibility with me.

This scammer has been calling me using these two numbers (03) 8609 0642 and (03) 8658 8016 I never answer out of state calls and they never leave a message, but I always look up the numbers here.
