They called but did not leave a message

An unidentified person on the other end who called, put me on hold when I answered...naturally, I hung up and blocked the number...so damn sick of this.
When will our telcos stop this from happening!!!

Robot voice claiming to be paypal trying to get my details to settle a huge monetary sum.

SPAM call using stolen data (they used an incorrect name stolen in a data breach)

Caller: Not a clue

I answered; they said “please hold, someone will be with you shortly” the hold tone rang for a few seconds then the call cut out. Number blocked

No message. The usual bull sh*t. Unsolicited rubbish from a number you can never call back.

Definitely a scam number

Rang me and said 'hello John?' and when I said I was not John, kept getting "yes hello John how are you John?" and they hung up when I got stern with them. Suspect it was a trading scam that i've been getting for years. scamming pricks.

I answered a call from (03) 8595 9845, i'm not sure what they trying to sell/promote so hung up and blocked their number.

Caller: Said they were "The Company"

6 + calls in space on and hour, despite being repeatedly told to remove my number from their call list, they just tried again from another number. Blocked all their numbers, but they just keep calling. Said I had applied to earn an extra income online and that I mustn't hang up. Heaven help those who are vulnerable and fall for their tactics. The telcos really need to crack down on these idiots.
