Calls multiple times a day asking for business owner, says he works for google and your address is wrong on google maps and he can help fix it if you give him your business password for google. Insistent, harassing and a nuisance

Called my office saying Christopher from Google maps & Google search.

Google will never, ever call you out of the blue. It is possible to schedule calls with Google regarding Google My Business and AdWords issues. However, business owners have to initiate these phone calls by going through Google’s online support system, providing their phone number and email address, and requesting the call. And the turnaround is usually very short, only a few minutes. If you get a real, legitimate phone call from Google, you’re going to be expecting it.

This was not a scheduled call, nor did they state to whom to speak to.
I cut them off and advised them to send an email to me about the call and hung up.

I got a call from this number today. Did not reply and glad I didn’t.

Yep tried it on me today,
them: "hello sir, I'm from google business, We need to verify your business address on google".
me: I'm sorry, I'm waiting for the postcard.
them: the postcard feature has failed sir, this is why we are using the back up service and call you
me: cool, send me an email with the information.
them: yes sir we will send it now
NO EMAIL - SCAMMERS

Caller: Muhammad

Guy named Muhammad said he's calling from Google, asking all sorts of stupid questions eg: is your business called...is your phone number...well you tell me, you're the one who rang me! Luckily as I was fielding his questions I found this number listed here - terminated the call and he kept yelling "no, no!" - have blocked and reported the number.

Claimed to be from 'Google verification services'. Not legitimate.

Called me, and asked me to varify my business details, and asked me if you want to make any changes you are not allowed untill you get it down through us.
I told him, You are a scammer, and disccounected as it is very clear Google never call you!!!

Left no message, number unobtainable when I rang back

Called asking if I was the manager of the business he called. Said my Google Code for Google Business has expired and he can reset it on the spot for me. Asked me again if I was the manager of the business, but not once knew my name hahaha.
Nice try, sounded very legit and probably would have followed his instructions if I didn't know any better.
Definitely a SCAM

Called me and asking are you the business owner of so n so company ? is this the concerned contact number.. Are you the owner ? is this the correct contact number etc ?

I disconnected as i understood its a Prank call as Google doesnt call me.

No message left not reachable. Possibly a scammer.

Was wanting to verify and add that apparently had appeared as a listing on google and googlemaps

Rang twice today and did not leave a message.

No answer- hung up immediately

Introduced himself as Muhammed and claimed to be from Google. Asked about verification of business address and my name, etc.

Definitely a scam call as Google does not call people.
