WHOEVER it was.... it was so brief There was only 3 rings then hung up unable to even reach for my pocket to grab my phone let alone anwser the call, givin the chance the loser on the other end would've got an earfull. Im fed up with these telemarketers and im very keen to know how the f@*# do they know my name as well as my number. I get at least 1 telemarketer call a day which happens always between 5.20pm - 5.35pm and if I get second telemarketer call it will happen around 6.45pm unf@*#enbelieveable

Caller: 'Australian Financial Services' Appears to be a phishing scam. The cover was 'Australian Financial Services'....honestly guys. Need a more original name for a 'finance broker'. An Indian lady called me under the guise of 'we spoke earlier this year about lowering your interest rate'. I don't speak to anyone about my interest rate, not even my own bank! But alarmingly they know my name and suburb, however you can find that via an ABN search. They wanted to know my interest rate, how much I had left on my mortgage and if I was working full time. Of course I was happy to tell them my answers - with extra mayo for good luck haha! With this information - they will then get their 'broker James' (nice anglo name knackers) to call me and discuss options with me. Now - this appears to be a qualifying call - so when 'James' calls, I'm suppose to trust them and they can go to town and grab as much personal information as they can, and dupe me out of whatever I have to my name. Now I have blocked the number - but if old mate James gets through to me some how - he will get an earful of stories from my childhood trips to Mildura, my thoughts on the best grass for a sustainable lawn during winter, and my long winded opinions on the best cylinder head designs are of the last 50 years - then ill tell him where to stick his scam!!
