Caller: SES I am really cross about this survey. I've been receiving emails about participating almost every damn day, and the reason I have not done so, is because it is not applicable to me. Then I missed the call tonight, listened to the voicemail and it's same social research centre now trying to phone me to harass me into doing the survey. I'm furious that they sourced my number from somewhere - I can only assume my University gave them my details, which is a huge strike out for me. Might just call them back and let them know what I think about the University who gives out my personal details...

Can confirm that this number is about the Student Experience Survey as noted by Jake on Aug 14 2018. Seems legit however still annoying.

University databases can be hacked and abused the same as any other, especially if someone knows the timing of a university's annual survey emails. If the University willingly gave a second, third, or fourth party the name and phone number of their students, then they are culpable in not protecting the privacy of those students and need to be called on it. Then there is the other fraudulent issue of telephone number spoofing. All in all - not safe in this current corrupt and fraudulent environment where anything goes and seemingly no-one has the will or means to stop it or protect the public from scams, so just don't do it.

Unsolicited mass marketing surveys. They call from these numbers: (03) 8580 2151, (03) 8580 2152, (03) 8580 2153, (03) 8580 2154, (03) 8580 2155 (and probably more besides that)
Do you have a comment about (03) 8580 2155?
