I have been receiving these calls for a month now and blocked about 15 numbers I think. I never answer as I don’t know anyone in Melbourne but I search every number and the same telemarketing energy story comes up where they constantly change numbers no matter how many times you block them. It’s driving me f**king crazy and I don’t know how to stop it as I have read that they don’t care if you ask them to stop.

It's not really anyone's guess. You shop online, through multiple vendors, there are websites with your number on them, business listings, white pages, your company has internet/phone etc. subscriptions. It's freely available, and easy to get

Usually from an Indian accent stating he is from Telstra and the internet is being hacked. This has been going on for three weeks. Now they have our home no and comes up private, when they have their boss - Chinese accent, swearing at who ever answers the phone. They will ring 4 to 5 tines a day. Need advice as to how to stop the. Telstra can’t help neither can the police or scam watches.

But when you answer there is nothing.

Registered my no. for no telemarket call to be made.
They still ring.

This number (03) 8579 6773 and (03) 8579 6788 are the same telemarketing mob. Block them.

These bastards get our details from either your network provider who sells you out or from platforms such as facebook & messenger, as they can turn your microphone on even when your not on a call & keyword's screened to match products being sold by companies.
