This mob claiming to represent one of Australia's leading charities smells like a scam.
Receive many calls from them and they use different phone numbers. I treat them as a PEST.

Left no message on voicemail

Said the call came from Clayton...

Number obviously got resurrected. Called and left no VM.

I had a call to my mobile - I said 'hello', the female voice said 'goodbye' , then hung up straight away!

Had several missed calls from this number. No messages left.

Called both my home and mobile numbers, within seconds of each other. No message left on either. I'd go with scam, or spam.
