I get a call almost every day on my landline and now on my mobile from this number. On the landline I've registered up to 10 times daily and have reported this, but they still ring and also any time up to 9pm.

Thought it was a charity. I don't mind donating and have me regular charities, what is annoying is a month later same charity, same spiel and the person not taking my answer of sorry I can't afford it this month. Yes your charity is a good cause but I don't have an unlimited bank account.... I've actually had them call me at work.... Got one yesterday and had to say the caller was annoying answering with awww that's nice.... Seriously?

I try really hard not to shoot the messenger when people ring for fundraising. My only gripe is that it seems as soon as I say yes to a charity I very soon get calls from charities that I have never donated to before, I think these may be from professionally run call centres that cover multiple charities. I ended up making up a spread sheet to control where my money was going (especially the lottery ones, I'd prefer to make a donation direct that buy another $50 ticket) this has proved to be a godsend as now I see where my money goes. I donate to each charity on my list once a year (on top of this I have several that I have monthly commitments to ie Red Cross, Alannah Madeline, CARE etc). Since I have done this I rarely get anyone guilting me (and unfortunately there have been a few) into committing when I can't afford to that month. I feel for the fundraisers that ring because it seems that it is getting harder and harder to raise the money needed so I try to be always respectful of this in my interactions. The one thing I do hate though is when a pre-prepared spiel is launched into and I'm not given the chance for several minutes to get a word in to tell them that I already have donated. You are obviously passionate about what you do so keep up the good work and good luck with your fundraising.

Called the 8554 1600 number numerous times and it rings for a while then disconnects. Over the constant calls during the day and especially after 6pm at night

No...you do not. I have this number call me over and over. I went to the website and removed my number and yet you still keep calling. This persistence has deterred me from EVER donating to your cause. Its disgraceful.

Had a missed call from this number & as above it belongs to Smart Health who calls on behalf of different charities. You can email donotcall @ sha.com.au leaving your name number & email & they will remove you from their list . (03) 8554 6100 is the number you call during business hours to talk to an operator and get it removed.its crap you can only call them then, yet they can call me at 7 at night??

Apparently it's a charity and networking type organization [Smart Health Australia, also Danoz, etc, etc, etc.. 'go figure'. Same caller, sometimes 2 times per day. They don't leave any messages. Obviously we treat as not important and obviously they will never get our business.

These people have been driving my daughter nuts ringing 5 times a day and hanging up. Today she accidentally spoke to one who said "am I calling at a bad time" - yes any time these parasites call. Does ANYONE ever give them money?? Just bloody harrassment.
