Just rang the number, asked them to take me off their calling list. They said it would take a couple of days but will be taken off. They are registered with Consumer Affairs and have to comply with Do Not Call Register so if they do not comply you can make a complaint to Consumer Affairs office.

Keep getting frequent calls from this number. Unfortunately once you do elect to support a charity,it seems you become fair game for numerous others!

This number has called everyday for the last 2 weeks, sometimes mire than twice a day. Love caller ID, have now blocked the number.

I have also been hounded by the number (03) 8554 1115. It sounded like a call centre and each time I have answered it (only twice now) it is the same pushy guy. They have claimed to be from the Seeing Eye Dogs Australia selling art union tickets. I refuse to purchase anything over the phone and had them mail the ticket order form to me. There is no Bpay option, just credit card or cheque/money order. They harrassed me to purchase some of their "art union" tickets and even offered to give me all their details so I can confirm that they are legit. I stuck to my mantra of not paying for anything over the phone and he eventually got the message.
I'm glad I found this website because next time they call I'll tell them that I know they aren't who they seem to be, that I'm definitely on the Do Not Call register (checked that this evening and even re-registered while I was there) - which makes it illegal for them to call if they aren't really a charity, and to not call me again. Ever.

So much for the obviously not so helpful receptionist at Apple fund raising on 24 May. Another call from 8554 1115 today - this time it was Carmel at Apple who answered. Apparently once they have a number to ring it is automatically rung repeatedly until someone answers. Her advice was to answer the call - however again I was promised that they would delete my number. I was also told that they would have got my number in the first place after I'd bought a raffle ticket - which I never do.

This number called me claiming a problem with a credit card. The background noise suggested a call centre. I simply said hello, and listened to then talk. They finally gave up.

This number keeps calling and calling. I don't answer them at all.

My daughter got a call from (03) 8554 1115and they left a message on her service......heavy breathing, that's a bit scary. I'm glad she didn't call them back, thanks for the info.

This company calls 4-5 times per week. We never answer our land line but they continue to call. You can email them to have your number removed from their call list -

Thanks to Rebecca for the phone number (03) 9222 2999) to ring to get taken off the Apple list. The receptionist was very polite and said it would take about a week as they have to search through their lists. So more than one list but surely these would be on computer?? Here's hoping. (my brother deals with these calls by saying 'please hold on a moment', then puts the phone down and goes for a smoke/coffee/whatever, he figures he has saved at least one person from being hassled and the caller is paying for the call.

They call me as Arthritis Victoria, ask me every month if I want to sell raffle tickets. I don't answer.

My answering machine is on 24/7 That screws 'em!
They hang up as soon as they realise they are talking to an IC Chip ! But a charge is registered to them.

I never answer calls I do not recognise on my display, especially from 02/03/04 where all the spam originates from. If they hide their number (private) they get the same treatment.
