Caller: Oak Road Estates - wine seller I have lodged a complaint about this wine seller with ACMA. Endless apologies for their "oversight" the next time they call, after I have been assured that I have been removed from the call list - just goes on and on. After 6 attempts to get rid of them, I still get calls - they are either incompetent or dodgy!.

Caller: Oak Road Estate winery Good wine but pushy salesman. He rang when I was in a work meeting. I told him I had to go. He kept pushing more wine so I hung up on him. Refused to answer calls after that but he rang, again on my work number, using a private number so I answered. This time I told him I don't want him to ring and he slammed the phone down in my ear!
I didn't hear from them for a while, but had a call today I didn't answer. If only they'd LISTEN and stop harassing me on the phone, I'd enjoy their products! I get that it's a miserable life as a salesman if you need to sell to eat, and it's a good product. I just want some courtesy really.......

Caller: Sales Rep Unsure how I got on their list (they say I filled in a survey). Very pushy sales approach and wouldn't take no for an answer. It's almost like they don't listen to you when you say you're not interested. The so called 'great deals' at '80% off' are actually at a price you can get online easily elsewhere. They created an account for me on their Oak Estate Website without my consent. All in all a very unpleasant interruption to a busy day.

Caller: Oak Road Estate Even though I mentioned that no one drinks alcohol in the house, they keep calling. I have mentioned during the last, maybe 6 calls, to remove all my details from all their databases, but these idiots keep calling. Very frustrating.

Caller: (03) 8551 3300 Called a while back & this time I didn’t get to answer. Last time told me I had “won” or “received” a $50 or $100 wine voucher and I just let the sales guy talk. When I had a chance I said “bull$hit”. He was rather taken aback and was back peddling especially when I dropped the Clanger - I have never drunk wine and neither has my wife. Told them not to call but obviously a new sales guy is in town ?

Caller: Some rude guy He said I had a voucher for $50. I politely said I didn't want to take up this offer... but you have $50... you need to use it... I asked him to take me off of his list as I NEVER bought wine from them before. He just hung up in my ear. VERY RUDE. Since then, I am receiving junk emails/ spam and international phone calls - I think he has sold my number to every junk mail operator in the world!!! How do I get my mobile number put on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER PLEASE.... someone. This type of caller is OUTRAGEOUS - Oak Road Estate Winery - this is not how you do good business, regardless if someone else is acting on your behalf. You need to clean up your act.

I have called them and asked to be removed. Said they would last year but rang again yesterday! Cannot be trusted to keep their word. I'm telling everyone I know to avoid them now.

Caller: Oak Road Estate A lot of these companies are affiliated so when they say you've bought wine before it could be related to another company they are affiliated with. The callers are selling and they get paid to sell so if you don't want to buy, tell them. Alternatively, ask them to take you off their list. At least they are an Australian based company and they will respect your right to not be called.
