This number is definately the Alana and Madeleine foundation. I've answered the call so many times. My mistake was to give them a donation years ago, and then find that they call constantly. It is a foundation that helps children suffering abuse.A worthwhile cause, named after Alana and Madeleine who were child victims, killed at the Port Arthur Massacre. But be warned, though the foundation is a worthy cause, they call constantly as many have found, give a 10 min spiel about abused children, then ask if you can help these suffering children. They got my mobile number somehow, definitely not from me, and call both my home number and mobile everyday. I have made so many complaints about the way they do not listen when you say you can't donate,(they just persist over and over on every call) and due to the harassment I have insisted they not call me anymore multiple times, but to no avail. They stopped for a while, and now are calling everyday again. I'm beside myself at how to stop them...they simply don't take 'do not call me anymore' seriously. It's so wrong to harass people to give money this way no matter how valid the cause.No other charity is allowed to do this, why should these people. If you tell other charity's that you can't give a donation, they accept that graciously and hang up, not calling again for months.Charities are not included on the 'do not call' list due to them having to seek donations for their cause, so I don't know how to stop this lot! There has to be some governing body that will take complaints about them to stop their harassment!

This number just rang my home, when I answered they didn't respond, or hang up. Definitely something strange in this.

03 - 85256901 called me twice between last night and today Saturday and asked for Mr Taylor. When I call back the phone is silent. Fishy! As I see already a complaints this year I am prone to believe something is wrong. Maybe checking if somebody at home... If it happen again I'll check with the Police.

I just had one of their reps knock on my door. I was in the midst of a writing project with a fast-approaching deadline and became very annoyed at the length of time it was taking for him to work through his spiel. I also resent being told that 'we're not going to sign you up for anything', then being asked for a donation, with a specific amount in mind.

I have added it to my blocked list as the calls don't stop. If it is the Alana and Madeline foundation, I found a couple of them very persistent and even rude, but eventually they did stop ringing me - or so I thought...

Must have rang my mobile and home number eight times in the last 10 days. Don't leave message on voicemail or answering machine. I'll just keep on ignoring their calls until they get the message.

i have this number call often. if i try & call it it just rings out. SCAM if you answer I bet they call straight back on another number

These people rang me claiming to be from AGL, wanting to install power saving devices, the caller had what appeared to be an Indian accent.
I don't think AGL would be calling me for this reason, their normal approach would be by letter.

Try joining the do not call register, if that fails then they will be in breach of the law, report them and hopefully they will be prosecuted. It is likely the Alanah and Madeline Foundation, who are legitimate but don't seem to understand when you ask them to stop calling.

This mob is ringing me quite often now. They claim that they are ringing on behalf of The Allanah and Madeline Foundation. They are really testing my patience at the moment as I have repeatedly told them to remove me from their database to no avail.

Yep call all the time put them in my blocked list now.

Called my number three times in the last two weeks. I called back once the phone is silent. It is very annoying phone call! If it happen again I think we should check with the police!

The best way to deal with these buggers is to report them to Fair Trading. If enough people do they'll get their licence rescinded and perhaps even have their company wound-up.

If your going to call have some balls and say something instead of just hanging up!
