I had a call from "Princess" at "Samsung" to confirm that I had received a new handset (which was true). Then they asked for full name, date of birth and address. I said that they should already have that on file and all the paperwork for the receipt of the handset was already complete. She pushed for my info again so I told her that I had lots of scam calls lately so could I call her back. She said her phone number was unable to be called (wish I had one of those). I politely said good bye and hung up.

(03) 8488 8242 is Samsung calling to request a feedback on a previous service provided. I think the best thing to do is answer and provide the feedback. I'm guessing the call centre is overseas because the person that left me a voicemail had an accent. I gave in my S7 edge with cracked back and front screen however got a call from the Sydney Olympic Park service centre that there is no parts in stock and no ETA so they replaced it brand new at no charge. Happy Samsung customer again!

Yes it is from Samsung but Gawd they can be so Darn annoying I put my phone in for repair and since then I get calls every 2 days asking me stuff for customer feed back etc ( the last call I just ignored it Im hoping they got the message to give up

Samsung? But I am not using any samsung products. How wired, they are calling everyday office time without any voice message left. I blocked this number anyway.

I have just missed a call from this number also, coincidental but I have also just received and email from Samsung Australia inviting me to a competition... won't be answering it if they call again... Ring away Samsung

It is Samsung customer service wanting to do a survey.

I just received a call a couple of hours ago.

They've caught on and that number has been disconnected. Whoever has (03) 8488 8242 they rang here asking for a specific person in our house, was very rude and gave no introductions and I'm now on their tail as I tried to ask they introduce themselves in future and was hung up on.

I get calls from this same number and they leave the silent voicemail messages which are starting to freak me out...

Called this number back and it was Optus saying I was eligible for a phone upgrade because my plan is about to run out (which it is). He knew my name and phone number and when my plan runs out.

This number has called me many times. It's associated with a girls magazine subscription called GIRL IT
