Annoying anonymous call

they just called and hung up. out of interest i called back, knowing it was likely a scam. they answered as "client benefit services" so i hung up.

They opened with a question if I was an Australian Resident and I said that I would not answer personal questions from a random number. They got confused, asked again, and hung up.

I AM ALSO ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTER!
I BLAME MY TELECOMMUNICATIONS PROVIDER FOR SELLING MY NUMBER TO THESE CALL CENTRES!

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM SOMEONE TRYING TO SELL LIFE INSURANCE, ALL OF A SUDDEN HE STARTED TALKING TO ANOTHER PERSON HE HAD CALLED AT THE EXACT SAME TIME!
IT SAYS THE CALL IS BEING MADE FROM ELTHAM VICTORIA, CLEARLY IS AN INTERNATIONAL CALL CENTRE!
NOW BLOCKED!

if they ask your name dont say yes say why. If you say yes they tape your voice and can use it

Tried to sell me funeral insurance, they rang twice in a day which even after I said I'm not interested

They have rung many times. I asked to be put on their do not call list and then they rang back 2 days later. This time I asked to speak to a manager. Spoke to some guy and asked his number (07) 3123 7349. probably just a relay. Asked his name. Noida. Asked the company address. 129 G New Delhi. Also have used (02) 8417 5013 and (03) 8372 3047

These are a pain in the button. 3 calls today. I never answer a number I don't know. Once you answer you are then paying for their call. NEVER EVER call them back as you are then paying international charges. Check your bills.

Received a call from (03) 8400 6037, then 20 mins later received a call from a private number - I'm not sure if the 2 calls connected, but it is a bit suspicious...
