Caller: Benefit Resource Team I received a call from this number today, with no-one on the other end, and the call was disconnected after 5 seconds. I googled the number, found nothing, and after hiding my number, I rang back, and the voicemail identified them as "Benefit Resource Team" - a google search showed them to be spammers.

Caller: Clear Com Supposedly a message from an "Energy Broker" called Clear Com, looking for my personal details in order to set up a discount on my energy bill. Wanted date of birth, drivers license and medicare numbers. When questioned, gave me a website which was for a different company. Scammers.

Caller: "Energy On Time" Guy was nice enough and knew my name, when I asked him to add my name from the 'do not call list' he hung up before I could finish my sentence. When I called back there is an option to remove your number, it then proceeds to tell you the option is no longer available but you can leave a voicemail, then the mailbox is full. When you call back to speak to customer service and press the numbers for the right option, it just replays your option over and over.
The only way I can think they'd have my number and name directly, is through compare the market (meerkat). I have not stopped getting calls from energy companies and insurance companies since I used their website. They claim they don't provide it to anyone else, but there is no other way.

This is why no-one answers their phone anymore. All numbers I don't know (including this one) I divert straight to voice mail. If there is no message left must not be important. Of course no message. so BLOCK

Caller: Clear Com They said that there is about to be a massive increase in rates on December 1st. I had to actually ask them what the rate increase would be in. Apparently it is energy. Just one more scam
