If a Debt Collection agency is calling you,l because of a outstanding bill or credit card you owe. The reason they keep calling you is because they have bought your debt for a fraction of the amount you owe and are now wanting to cash in on your debt ,they are parasites that feed of someone else hard ache , so if you owed $1,000 they probably paid $100-$200 for the debt and the original company will just right it off , so if you answer the phone tell them to get f@#ked and it will cost them more time & money to chase you for that debt.

Wankers got ripped off paid the debt yet they keep demanding more money. Tell them take you to court they leave you alone for about 3months then they start up again.

This number is now being used by Indian SCAMMERS!!! Once a week calls for the last handful of years from all sorts of numbers including this one "(03) 8379 0500" but only in the last few weeks via said number, so they have been looking for a Mr or Mrs Canham for the last couple years but of late it's been a Rebecca Canham lol keep telling them the news, wrong number, stop calling etc etc.... Do not give anyone calling you from this number your personal details, ever.

AR(heLl)! Called me up to 5 times a day from different numbers about the same Origin Bill that i had already paid. I disconnected a Gas and Electricity account at the same time through Origin and ARL called me separately for gas and electricity almost daily. I had to complain to Origin about their lack of communication sharing with their collection company. I told this company about 10 times that the account was paid in full and to call Origin and to stop harassing me. IDIOTS! Annoying and it is ILLEGAL to have calls so much for NO REASON.

Had a short ambulance trip after a car accident. Ambulance bill was referred to TAC. ARL keeps hounding and demanding I pay it, despite being repeatedly told that it's a current TAC claim. Even telling them repeatedly in the same phone call. I now block every number I know that is ARL's, but I can't just stop answering the phone because I need it for work!

Caller: (03) 8379 0500 I get similar calls from an Indian guy purporting to be ARL. After reading other comments, I reckon ARL have been hacked by Indian scammers jumping on their call lists. These unprofessional callers give nothing away yet try so hard to get my details. When they get zilch from me they threaten me with a bad credit reference. Ha, they don't even know who I am to even register a loan default. BUT, my number must appear on their list. 😡

Caller: 8379 0500 Typical ARL Limited. They called me about a debt I had with Westpac and an overdue Holden Mastercard. The total was $36,000. I told them that Westpac no longer considered it a debt as it wasn't on their books. Idiot from ARL said, no we own the debt now. So my reply was, you better phone yourself and chase yourself for the money then, it's not my problem. That was over 3 years ago, hasn't rang back since.
