fake call from this number - as above . what frustrates me is Scamwatch and the phone companies - most likely optus in this case will not do anything . They can easily block it - but NO they make money as well out of it !!

Annoying. Harassing. Comes up as point cook. They use bogus name to try and get you to talk to them. As in asking for ‘Dave’, and proceed to launch promotion. Asked to not call me back, but they keep calling. 3 tines. I’ve blocked the number.

I got a call from this number and someone with an indian accent asked me if I was Rachel which I wasn't, i didn't reply and they hanged the phone up on me. Its probably a scam number, beware and do not answer. Have no idea how they got my number.

I saw the number in my missed call list, had a feeling the number is bogus, Googled it and caem across this thread. I trust you're all right about the number.

Call number back was a Call Centre - Global Contact Partners
Asking me about personal insurance. She couldn't even read the script properly.

Recieved a call from them, I ignored it and they hung up after leaving me a message as if they were on the home phone's speaker box asking if I was there and literally repeated it twice. Which was stupid because my number is obviously a MOBILE number -.- Anyways, it was a male caller who had a strong accent that could have been indian or spanish—or of similar descent. Also heard noises in the background, probably a call centre or someone working from home. Either way, they are now on my blocked list.

Answered and took a few seconds before someone speaks. The dude spoke very strong Spanish accent and I don't understand a word. Hanged up and blocked this number.
