No one spoke when I answered, waited a bit and then an automated voice said goodbye and hung up on me!

Called me and location is showing up as point Cook. I thought it was a recruiter but it was a scam call, asking to confirm my full name. I asked him what’s this call about, but he ignored my question and told me if I could confirm my full name, which he got it wrong (but I obviously didn’t tell him). He proceeded on to say I’ll get to the main purpose of this call after we get your name and then he said congratulation you’re in the draw for winning a Foxtel set and I ended the call right away.
They never called back and I blocked the number.
BEWARE OF SCAMMERS!!

Didn’t answer. I don’t answer calls I don’t know. If it’s important they’ll leave a message, otherwise I look the number up and if there’s complaints I block them. Annoying though seeing as I’m on the do not call register.

Someone called me with number and asked me if I am Amanda. And then i said no this is not Amanda. Then he started to say, then I just have something to discuss with you it wont take a lot of your time. Then i said no because I am doing something but he still keep on going like just couple of minute. I said i am not interested, i am doing something and he said may I just ask what you are doing? f*ck no you cannot know what I am doing. First of all you are wasting my time and second of all I am not interested.

Repetitively call and off different numbers. I decided to answer one of these calls after months of blocking the numbers. The lady was very aggressive on the phone, trying to sell some sort of insurance. I ended up hanging up and blocking. I'm so sick of these calls 7 days a week!

There is a pause when you answer the call and then someone from somewhere starts to ask how your day is going. That's enough for me to know it's a pestering call centre scam setup. Block Number..

As per some of the posts here - I received 3 calls from Victoria over 3 days - Point Cook, Sydenham, and Craigieburn. All with the same pre-fix of 03 8372 (and ending in either 2015, 4018, or 3058). I have never answered and these calls were similar to calls I was receiving some time ago from SA - they routinely phone and don't leave a message. I think this is the same group operating in different states. My advice is never answer.

Constant calling, I do not answer. Checked the interwebs to see if it is a pest number. Sure enough, yes, it is.
