This is 'Online power and Gas' (although they change their 'company' name regularly). They are fairly sophisticated Indian scammers trying to get your bank account number, once they have your number they will phone daily. I have time on my hands and a sense of humour so I have been playing along with them for over a year.

Got a call from this number a few months ago about energy savings, said no and now they call every couple of weeks saying that I owe them money for a power bill. Told me they were from Online Power and Gas. I don't have an account with them, never have and sure as hell never will!! I've called my energy supplier to make sure nothing was weird on my account and they've said they can't see anything and to be careful.

Same story, cold call. I just hung up

This may be the case for you. But it isn't for a lot of people. We are a business and receive a lot of unsolicited telemarketing and "cold"calls. It's become part of company practice to type the number in here if there is any type of tonal delay in connecting. On this instance the called was trying to sell wholesale line rental rates on behalf of Telstra. So clearly not a debt collector. Just setting the record straight. :)

This number called me five or six times, wanting to talk to the business owner. I told the caller that he/she caller the wrong number. They just continued to call in after hours the next few days.

Person on the phone try to arrange meeting with business owner, claim they can "increase business revenue", but refuse to send email or identify what type of company they are.

They seem to have the wrong address but want to offer me some energy services which will help me save great bucks. They said they are calling from SimplyEnergy. I also had a door knocker from the company yesterday.

Yep Just got one at 16:26, Said hello no reply a pause for approximately 30 to 40 seconds followed by hanging up!

Think about it people, is there any other calls you might be avoiding?? ..maybe that blocked number that harasses you ALL the time?

Well, it's the same "Caller" checking to see if you answer a call from a non-blocked number. They do this because they are paid quite well to get in contact with you over the matter you have been avoiding the other calls ;)

Got a call not 5 mins ago they hung up so I called back phone says extension 506 is unavailable. Really annoying. And this is not the first time.

3 phone calls today, drives me mad.

other numbers they use (03) 8354 6802 and (03) 8354 6802 I pick up and there's never anyone there, always through the day then again between 5:30 and 7:30 maybe every half hour. I am lodging a complaint with www.tio.com.au please if you are called from this number or any like do the same

I am also fed up with the constant phone calls from this number Can someone please get them to stop!!!!

Got a call from this number, girl introduced herself as jess and she was calling me because she spoke to me on Facebook on Friday about my energy account?
when I told her she had the wrong number
she said "its jess, from the bank, I spoke to you on Friday"
when I tried to say she had the wrong number again, she hung up
