I called back number (03) 8306 5102 reached voice mail for Guide Dogs Victoria.

Calling on behalf of Baker institute, a cancer and diabetes research organisation.

Caller: Lifeline?

I answered a call from this number and the person claimed to be from lifeline and that they wanted to talk to me about what's going on there.
I hung up after that because I've never talked to lifeline in my life, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't cold call people for donations.

Keep calling day after day. Sick of them.

So my only mistake was donating to the guide dogs for raffle tickets as i thought it was a worthy cause. That was over 6 months ago. Now i get calls several times a week ever since. The first few times i said i was no longer in a position to support, and they said they would take me off the list. Obviously they didnt. They need to fire whoever is in charge, as i will never donate to them again whilst this is happening.
Lesson learned i guess. Never buy the raffle tickets, just make a donation if you want to support.
