In this years response to spam it is appropiate to use the word F..k OFF.
Remember it is your phone service you make your own rules.
But if you call another service it is unlawful to say F..K OFF.

Give these people a case of depression ,their tactic is to wear you down.
(03) 8256 6799= F..K OFF!!!

I have had 9 missed calls in 2 days , starting from 7am upto 7 pm .

I received a call from this number 28 Nov 2011. When I answered they hung up and (03) 8256 6799 was recorded as a missed call. I am glad to find that others are reporting experiences here.

I have got 2 missed calls from this number in the last 2 weeks. Came to this site to check it out... glad I missed those calls.

Now they are trying to flog off phone contracts for Vodaphone. Indian sounding guy calling himself Raymond Devera. This latest speil is for the Samsung Galaxy S on a $9 plan. The guy was trying to hard sell to a co-worker, almost got all his details down before I got him to hang up.

Just don't bother picking up the phoe with this number!

Unnecessary calls from this number and does not say anything....

I used to be with Dodo up until April 2011. Have received calls from this number a few times now.

I am with Dodo for my Internet and mobile phone. I used to be with them for Internet only, BUT they persuaded me to get a phone contract with them because I had to break my internet contract (I was moving... and even though I was going back to dodo for my NEW internet they were still gonna charge me $400!!!!!). I do get harassing phone calls with them where they try to upsell me... like they offer me more mobile phones (no my primary school kids DON'T need phones... thanks)... it's really annoying. When my contracts are through I will change my ISP and phone I think. Oh and they charge you $25 for a stuffed SIM card... that's waaaay too much.

Already got 4 miss calls from this number. Goggled the number and thanks to everyone who reported it, I found out it was a sales calls. Not picking up my phone when I see this number. Thank you.

Similar experiences, I had a Dodo account like 2 years ago and they keep calling to sell me mobile phones.

Thanks to calls from this number and also (02) 8206 9888 (as well as various other sales calls), I now don't answer my phone but have a message there asking genuine callers to leave a message and all sales people to stop wasting their time as I am no longer answering the phone!!

I got eight calls, 30 seconds apart today from number (03) 8256 6799. The caller left no message. Each time I tried to ring back (03) 8256 6799, a bleary computer voice told me I could not ring this number from my Telstra Mobile Phone Service. Stop ringing me (03) 8256 6799 I'm trying to work!

its dodo collections, and why it seems like a hangup call is because there is about a 10 second delay before they start talking... longer than most people wait before hanging up... also, its a routed number.. the call is actually from a call center in Manila, philippines. if you want to give them a taste of their own medicine.. do what I do and wait that ten seconds til they start talking..... then pretend you cant hear them and hang up... :) DODOES

This number just rang me about 30 minutes ago and hung up a few seconds after I answered.
I had prepaid internet with DODO until around 3 months ago when I changed to a different provider because of poor service.

I have been received calls from this number for the past month. I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know. If I find out it is DODO I will be cancelling my account with them.

It borders on harassment for sure.

I've had a good 20 or so calls from this number over the past several months. I was with dodo once upon a time but left them due to their poor customer service about 6 months ago. Glad to know who it is and makes me feel better about changing ISPs. Now to blacklist the number ;)

I'm confident that its DODO, was a member 5 yrs ago to that useless communications service. For the last few days i've been getting call after call from (03) 8256 6799. It might be time to call the company and give them their own medicine.

my experience is much the same as above. two calls - no messages. I have never been a dodo customer and would never would be.

i too have had many missed calls from this (03) 8256 6799. I decided to ring it back where i had a message 'you have recieved a call from our call centre' please enter your mobile no so we can redirect you'. I hung up. Again tonight they phoned and I decided to answer yet had no response. I googled the number where I got to this site. AND YES, I had contacted DODO recently.
