I received numerous calls from Benefit Deal in Melbourne, so I decided to speak to their manager and was put through to their supervisor called Ryan. I asked for their full legal name and he advised the name was Benefit Deal. I asked if it was a company or sole trader, and he said company. I looked them up on ASIC and their company does not show up. I advised him that his company is not registered and should not be trading. I asked him who sold my details to him and he said it "automatically comes up". I said it can't automatically come up. At this point he hung up on me. I don't think I will be hearing from them again!

I know you're going to curse me after reading this. I have worked in customer service always but they were inbound calls and they were all from India but recently I got a call from a company named Choice Force (Or Teleminds) which is in India. I got selected for the job. There was supposed to be a second round of interview with this company which didn't happen, instead they told me I have already passed the second round (Lol,as if I won't remember it). After that I had doubts about this company. On my 3rd day of training I got to know about this company named Benefit Deals. I had to check if this company website exists. Instead I found this forum. The trainer even said that the company has 1 number not rolling number. The company changes it's name often. Thank you for letting me know about this. I tried to log into this forum from India but it didn't allow me so I used a VPN. If you want I can give you the number of the HR's. They even have Whatsapp. Annoy them like they annoy you. I like customer service but I hate scammers. I am sorry that this is happening to you guys. :( Please don't curse me.

keep getting calls from benefit deals, (03) 8751 8352 so I block, then they try from another number (03) 8372 3163, block again and another number, they try from (03) 4213 4012, (03) 4213 4017,(03) 4213 4013, (03) 4213 4016, (03) 9940 7747 and it just goes on. how many numbers does this company own, no matter how many times I block them they ring from another number. I never answer them as I don't know anyone in Melbourne so I ring the number back from my work phone and an answering machine comes on with the companys name. Don't they get the hint I do not want to talk to them. Pity the numbers aren't linked so when you block it, it blocks every number associated with them.

I have received 5 calls from ‘Benefit Deal’ today and each time I have been asked to remove my number. I don’t even have energy accounts in my name and they keep pestering me.

Received another call from Benefits Deals this afternoon. I asked them to explain why their call was being flagged as spam on my phone. They responded by saying that they're not spam and are a legitimate business and I could check online. So I checked online and asked them to explain why the first page on my google search was full of complaints and highlighted that they were spamming Australians. The girl on the other end was lost for words and denied what I was saying so I asked her to do a google search on Benefit Deals and tell me what she could see. She responded by saying that she couldn't access google from her computer. I kept her on the line for a good 15 minutes to waste as much of her time as possible. Hopefully I've now been blacklisted as blocking them doesn't work.

initially when they started to call me i asked politely to be removed from their call list, which amounted to nothing. So I blocked them. This did nothing. Now I pretend to be extremely stupid and try to waste as much of their time as possible. I get less calls these days.

I answered once and was met with a company introduction (sounded spammy) and then asked if my name was mrs (******) which it isn’t! He then got flustered and mumbled something which I couldn’t hear due to accent (Indian Im assuming)

Caller from Geelong - from Benefit Deal. I answered the call and no one spoke, said "hello" a couple of times and left it but didn't hang up then 10 seconds later, they hung up on me! I rang the number back and it was Benefit Deal - guessing a marketing call

I had the same from (03) 4455 4070 who claimed to be from benefit deal. I rang the number back a couple of times with blocked caller id and spoke to someone who informed me they were in fact calling from a call centre in India. They told me they were calling on behalf of "benefit deals" during one call and said the office address was 3 Bowen Crescent South Melbourne(appears to be a building containing offices so doesn't help narrow it down) when i asked. I then rang back and was told the business name was "deal checker" and they said their offices were in South Melbourne but would not elaborate further when i asked them for the postal address, they just hung up. Couldn't find either name in asic or abr. Would love to find the source of this spam. Anyone have any ideas ?

Unsolicited call. Knew my name - got my number from a database. Something about electricity deals. Asked them to remove me from their list and not contact me again and I hung up.
