Here's a tip from a former operator in these organisations. To stop them ever calling you back, answer the phone, listen to their introduction pitch and when they finish say "no thanks, not interested". They then, BY LAW, must remove you from their database and you wont get anymore calls. This works for any organisations using the exemption from the Do Not Call Register.

Same with me. This number is on my blocked list too and they still manage to get through. I should have a whistle handy and just blow it hard when they call. Maybe they'll put my number on the blocked list then.

Calls on mobile all day, every day but never leaves message! Bordering on harassment!

9/1/19 - I called the number where it stated it is Independence Australia. You can call 1300 780 934 TO MAKE A DONATION!! what the?
Anyway also the automated woman voice said you can send an email to : ia.donotcall @ sha.net.au

Caller: A telemarketer

It is a call centre. I only answer calls I have in my contacts, as all others can leave a message. I called back on my unlisted phone and someone answered not identifying himself or the company. I asked "Could I please speak to Gudrun", (as this is an uncommon name) and there was no Gudrun. There was lots of background talking. Obviously a call centre. So I apologised for dialling the wrong number. On the occasion when I do expect somebody to call me and I do not know the number, I answer in native language, German, so whoever is calling has to identify themselves or ask for me; otherwise I do not speak English. This tactic also stops them calling me. My tenet is that I have a telephone or mobile for my convenience as I pay for it.

Since the 11th of December I have had 16 missed calls from this number (I have it blocked on my phone, but still get a notification when they call).

Yep same thing, they call, hang up then call again. Don't bother answering it.

Keep ringing me, I don't answer, blocked the number, but still manage to get through to me!! I thought once I block them, they won't be able to ring???

Caller: Possible telemarketer

this number has been calling me every single day for the past 3 weeks and just won't stop. I refuse to answer it, based on I don't know who they are and they won't leave a message. Unfortunately, I've tried to block the number, but without success. So much for the do not call register, which I updated about 6 weeks ago.

They have rung me repeatedly over the last few days. As I don't know the number, I don't answer but they never leave a message. Have no idea who they are
