Number called called back advised the mobile number you are calling is turned off. Scammer hiding behind (03) 7076 1209

A caller from this number phoned a second time within around an hour and a half even though the first time they didn't even bother to speak. Now it's blocked.

Scammer behaviour, calling and hanging up as soon as the answering machine comes on, so I'm reporting it as a scam.
These calls from the lowlifes are especially good if you're ill and sleeping when the phone rings. I can't help thinking each time that if no one ever answered a call from an unknown number, when we know that there's a plague of scammers, they would stop. Furthermore, no one would be scammed. A greater mystery is why anyone would call them back, revealing that theirs is an active number, when the caller had no interest in even speaking.
Please either ignore these calls or block the numbers. If you do find out that they are scammers that are calling, please report it when you have time.

I received three of these calls between 11:55AM and 2:11PM (AEDST) on the 27/02/2025 and the 28/02/2025. Each time that these scammers called it was always someone with an Indian accent, and they always used a different name. They always used the same number (03) 7076 1209. These criminals don't fool me!!

I let it go to my answering machine but they hung up straight away.

I agree, they always call at meal time. I am 90 years old and can very easily fall when going to the phone

Caller: Clean and Care Company

Claim to be a window cleaning and gutter cleaning company in my area. (area not specified). When asked for an address they hedge and give partial information before hanging up.
Based on experience I believe this is a lead generation company that then sells the "booking" to a local company for a fee.

It is interesting to note that many of these scam calls are from groups of phone numbers managed by SYMBIO NETWORKS PTY LTD
