A recorded message saying it was Visa card department, calling to to warn me about a bitcoin purchase transaction for about $900.

Caller: Scam

Called to “assist with recovering online investments” - total scam

I answered; they hung up.
Based on previous comments........

Phone listed number as Potential Fraud, so I let it ring out. Caller did not leave a message

I just received a call from this number and the guy on the phone claimed to be from the Telstra Billing Department. Straight away I said that this seems to be a scam call. He got scared and hung up. Number is now blocked. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER.

Caller: Scammer

Said she was from Telstra about my internet. After a silent pause of several seconds I said, “Keep talking,” then she said in a snide tone, “I’m not going to talk.” Then hung up.
Strong Indian/English accent. Lots of call-centre noise and other background voices.
