Caller: Visa security department Automatic message, claimed they had noticed I had bought crypto currencies on my Visa card, but since I hadn't done that before, they had declined the payment. If i wanted to go ahead with the payment, I had to press 1

I'm so sick of this. This scamming moron rang on a Friday evening, at dinner time of course, and then didn't bother to speak when the answering machine kicked in. As usual. (And I never, ever answer calls from unknown numbers nowadays. It would be good if no one did.) I see from previous posts here that this bunch of scamming lowlifes don't even know who they're supposed to be pretending to be.

Caller: Scammer Female with almost unintelligible Indian accent, claimed to be calling from Telstra. Couldn't understand what she was saying, but kept her talking for a while (fewer victims). Then told her I was leaving call and that I hoped that she wasn't going to go on to try to scam other people. Number now blocked. (BTW .. I don't have a Telstra account anyway .. )
