Caller: Legal department of services Australia

Called from private number, stated as above through recorded message to press 1 or call 2 91572784 as legal action through court will be taken. Area code of phone number was never stated correctly. Believe it is a scam to get personal details or money.

I had this message just now but caller ID (08) 9058 8280, I have no reason to assume the ATO would be interested in my affairs so have not called back the number stated in voice msg: (02) 9157 2784. Assuming this is a scam, can anyone confirm?

I got the same call today, exactly the same message.

Services Australia has a list of phone numbers to contact them and this is not one of them, they also say they will not provide any other numbers to call

A recorded message - Press 1 or call back on (02) 9157 2784, as my Tax ID has been suspended, claim against me in Federal Court, to avoid being arrested.
Suspect this is a hoax or con.
I did not call back.
