Just got a call from this number saying it's a call from Commonwealth bank and we noticed a suspicious transaction on your account for $XXXXX dollars. Please press 1 if... Obviously a scam. Do not pick up!

Said they were from Telstra and my VPN had been compromised and my personal information had been leaked to public and they would help me turn it off; I pretended to follow along to waste their time, he was not happy 🤣

Well an Indian accented female gives me the call, similar MO to those reported from Above (From Melbourne apparently) the Anti-Fraud organisation of Australia, about a 'Foreign Transaction' for $1,299. We can help stop this payment and save you that money. So I asked questions, like which bank account? We represent Australia's 5 major banks! Hmm, so I asked "Where do I find you on the Internet? then she hung up on me. How rude!! The self same woman had called my mobile only an hour before, I recognised her voice. But at that time had claimed to be a debt collection agency.

Got a missed call from this number. I always google before I return the call and saw that this number is a scammer. My phone alerts me if it's Potent fraud.

The woman claimed to be from PayPal. She said she had seen a suspicious transaction for an eBay gift card and Bitcoin. She said my IP address had been compromised and asked to to install an app. It took me a while to realise that she had not identified herself. Then I looked up the number and realised it was a scam.

Just had a call from this number - Indian sounding male caller - he couldn't seem to hear me (bad reception where I was) BUT he knew my name. This is concerning!

Didn't listen closely. Something about pressing 1 to sort out some purported problem with a payment (I don't even use PayPal).

Received a call from this number, I've installed an app that identifies and block's scam and spam calls. It identified this number as as SCAM! Do not answer. Hang up and block 🚫

Or have some fun with them and lead them on a wild goose chase….

Scam - said they were from the Commonwealth Bank, then changed that to the Bendigo Bank.

Claimed to be with Telstra calling about IP information. Had some fun and abused the scammer which made them immediately become hostile with profanities and slander. Fun times. Feel free to mess with these scammers because they have silly-string instead of spines.

Play it alone until he hangs out.
Guess he never know. How dare U call my name though this number on Saturday!
