Just got a call from this number saying it's a call from Commonwealth bank and we noticed a suspicious transaction on your account for $XXXXX dollars. Please press 1 if... Obviously a scam. Do not pick up!

Said they were from Telstra and my VPN had been compromised and my personal information had been leaked to public and they would help me turn it off; I pretended to follow along to waste their time, he was not happy 🤣

Well an Indian accented female gives me the call, similar MO to those reported from Above (From Melbourne apparently) the Anti-Fraud organisation of Australia, about a 'Foreign Transaction' for $1,299. We can help stop this payment and save you that money. So I asked questions, like which bank account? We represent Australia's 5 major banks! Hmm, so I asked "Where do I find you on the Internet? then she hung up on me. How rude!! The self same woman had called my mobile only an hour before, I recognised her voice. But at that time had claimed to be a debt collection agency.

Got a missed call from this number. I always google before I return the call and saw that this number is a scammer. My phone alerts me if it's Potent fraud.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra Tech Support

Indian with poor English said my phones ip address settings had gone public. I had the same call yesterday as well, I told him this but he insisted I needed his help. I wasted his time for a while with questions. He hung up on me after telling me to put it up my ass when I asked him if he wanted my bank account details.

A guy with an Indian accent rang and referred to me by my first and last name. He said he wanted to discuss the Amazon order I placed last night for an iPhone. I told him he had the wrong person and he just hung up.

Got a call from this number, Indian caller said he's from Commonwealth Bank, I do not bank with it, I knew it was a scam call from the start, I was asked if I had made a payment of I don't know how much. I told him to stick his scam where the sun does not shine, and I hung up

Claimed to be from Telstra, "Mike', but sounded more like a Mohammed, claiming an issue with the IP address, on my phone. When challenged that phone he was calling about was not in my name, he disconnected.

Said he was calling from the bank I am on, found a suspicious overseas transaction and wanted to cancel and needed my authorisation, I pretended and tagged along with him in the end I said I going to call the bank by myself to check it and he was furious till I hang up on him.

Someone just rang and said some garbage about 1800 dollars missing from my Commonwealth bank account well boo who how sad never mind for I'm NOT with the Commonwealth bank ha ha ha ha losers

Same as me and they are saying Telstra well I'm NOT with Telstra and saying about money well ive got no MONEY stupid bright fools will end up in jail eventually

This is a scam. have had 3 calls in 3 days from this number (03) 7050 but each having different last 4 digits 4103, 4108 & 4109.
They say they’re from telstra ringing about scam activity on my phone & wanting me to go to a website. my phone internet is not with Telstra
