Caller: Victorian energy upgrades

Call centre caller about VIC energy upgrades, knew first name associated with phone number

Wanted to offer me $1900 refund. Scammer scum

Clearly a scam, they are recycling their call database from last year. Don’t bother answering, just block them permanently and they be gone !

Caller: claimed to be about Victorian Hot Water upgrade

First call, they hung up when I answered. When I called back, answered 'hello' first and then started speaking about the hot water upgrade.

I called the number back and had some fun. I asked for their company name - nothing. I then asked who the Premier of Victoria is and she said you want me to tell you who the Prime Minister of Victoria is? Obvious scam. Block the number.

I called number (03) 7047 9050 back anonymously and got a recorded message "The number you have dialled is currently unavailable"
