Caller: scammer

Yet another import trying to sell stock market profits.
She said in broken English that I had filled in a questionnaire earlier this year.
When I asked where the information came from so I can report it, she hung up!

Caller: PayPal

Claimed to be from PayPal asking if I had cancelled a money request. I hung up.

Caller: They said PayPay

Indian fellow called saying he was from PayPal. I hung up.

Caller: Says he was from PayPal

Stated was from PayPal and was a request for payment for $199 for bitcoin. As I had literally just been thru this a few days before I wouldn’t give him any info he requested. Just said I’d ring PayPal myself.

It was all about cancelling a PayPal transaction for bitcoin that I didn’t make.

Caller: Definitely a Scammer Indian accent

Definitely a scam call. My PayPal account had an unauthorised amount this morning, at the same time I received a missed call from this number as I was trying to report to PayPal. I rang this number back (stupidly) and this Indian told me about my PayPal account and the correct amount of the unauthorised amount and asked me to confirm my email address and saying it was a bitcoin transaction. I said no and told him this was a scam as I was checking this number in reverse Australia at the same time (luckily) and hung up.

Claimed to be from paypal. Also sent a text message asking me to call 1800 574 147. Confirmed with PayPal that this is not them. I called the number and was an Indian person who went on to ask me to confirm my credit card details. Reported to scamwatch

Caller: indian fraudster & scammer

Claimed to be from paypal about a bitcoin transaction that I had stopped. I had stopped/cancelled the transaction because it was a fraudulent transaction. the transaction text in the paypal receipt included a phone number that that went to an indian call centre that claimed to be the PayPal one. there the scammer wanted full credit card number & ID so he could "process" the cancellation.
this call came a week later from another indian scammer who wanted to revisit the transaction cancellation. he hung up when I asked where he was calling from.
probably a spoofed number as only engaged signal when called back.
