2nd time today ....this time from Telstra after access to my modem ( black box he called it )
Why cant Telstra do somethibg about these f*cknuckles

The Man claimed that if you answer some survey questions, they will pay you $175.00
When I said "NO" - that I was busy - he was very insistent and wanted to call back.
When I politely refused he hung up on me.
I have now received three further calls from this number - they hang up when I answer.
If this number calls you, hang up immediately!

I presume its the fu#$ers scamming again

I had this number ring me today saying they are from Telstra, saying that it is about my internet connection.

Caller: A "John Wilson" with a strangely south Asian (e.g. Indian, Pakistani) accent

There was a delay before he started speaking. He said his name was "John Wilson" and I told him he didn't sound like a "John Wilson".

Caller: "Oh... so what do you think this is?"
Me: "I think this is a scam."
Caller: "Oh... well I'm going to send you the letter..." (no idea what he's talking about at this point)
Me: "Goodbye." Hang up.

I'm going to make sure there's a sports whistle by the phone next time (the comments here indicate they call multiple times). See how they like that being blasted into their ears. Scum!

Advised from Telstra. Scammer. Do not answer call - 2nd call from this number today.

This number has called a couple of times and has hung up when my elderly mother answered. Very suss. A Queensland number has called twice as well.

Received 4 calls from this number today. When answered you could hear faint voices on the other end.

Caller: I don't know, definitely some sort of scam

Rang about 6.30pm, wife answered. Caller said that he was from Telstra and was trying to fix email. Wife responded "it's not daytime, it's evening and I am trying to cook tea" and hung up. Have not had any email or internet issues lately, so extremely unlikely that something needs fixing, so we believe this is a scammerwho hoped to obtain username/password combo to hack into account.

Received a call from this number which seems to have a Victoria area code. Husband answered and could not understand what the person said. Will not answer if future calls are received.
