Likely scammer no reason to call me from Tassie

Chinese with English translation available about my phone calls. Call listed as coming from Targa in Tasmania. Why can’t these calls be stopped as they are nuisance scammers of Chinese origin. It’s a landline so someone is paying the bill for it. Stop these ppl from annoying us

(03) 6347 6987 From Targa Tasmania is a scam call but they did leave a message. I urge everyone to report these calls to Scamwatch so that they can investigate and prosecute.

Hi I got this message today and I didn't open but here voice message if u are Chinese or international student press 2 there is epidemic warning if u are chines or international student press 2 and voice cut off accent of lady was Asian i am wondering who can send such message ?

Phone did not ring and an automated voice message left .
Passport , please contact us press 1 for English . Press 2 for Chinese. You .

Same location in Tasmania - at least left message - contacting me, I have urgent documents - select 1 for English, 2 for Chinese Can confidently block as scam

This is definitely scam - claim to need to secure a $1800 transaction on a debit card with the CBA - hilarious considering I don't have a debit card with the CBA.

Third call today from ‘Olivia’ from a bank , who tells me someone is trying to process a debit from my account. One problem, I don’t bank with them!!!

Agree with anonymous on 23-Jul. I did not pick up call to my mobile, and no message left. Said from Targa, Tasmania

unknown to me - received four calls from numbers beginning with (03) 6347.... in the space of two hours.

Claims to Commbank and I have to verify or cancel an $1800+ charge to my credit card. You’d think they’d use a different voice over each time they try a financial services scam
